I want a nice car but I can’t afford anything too expensive. I heard about police auctions but i’m not sure about them.

there are also car auctions that are open to the public..google it for ur area..and try looking in the auto trader (u can pick 1 up @ ur local gas station..good luck..

Consider buying a new car. The ones that the dealers advertise at a really low price, but they only have one of. They always list the VIN in the ad, so it takes some leg work because they will often lie and say that the car is still there when you call on the phone, but tell you it’s been sold once you get to the lot but sometimes all they do is put it in an inconvenient spot (try to hide it) but if you match up that VIN number they have to sell it to you at that price!
You can also ask around and see if you can find a manufacturer employee to give you their discount!
Otherwise, you have to be careful with those auctions. Sometimes you get a great deal, but sometimes it’s just not worth it. You don’t know what those cars have been through before you got them and you can’t test dfrive them or find out much about them before you bid.
What about buying a certified preowned car?
